# Dismiss a health alert

`POST /cohorts/{id}/health-alerts/dismiss`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.production.yourmedley.com`
- URL: `https://api.production.yourmedley.com/cohorts/{id}/health-alerts/dismiss`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Marks a specific health alert as dismissed for a cohort. The alert will still be computed but flagged as dismissed.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `ruleKey` string, required: The rule key of the alert to dismiss
  - `entityId` string, required: The entity ID associated with the alert (UUID or composite key)
  - `notes` string: Optional notes about the dismissal
  - `triggerSnapshot` object: Snapshot of trigger data at dismissal time

## Response `200`

Alert dismissed successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - missing required fields
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Cohort not found
