# Set or clear the per-session topic override (MED-702)

`PUT /cohorts/{cohortId}/sessions/{sessionId}/topic-override`

Sets sessions.topic_override. When present, this value takes precedence over the session-number-level topic and the legacy topic_id->topics.name. Pass null to clear the override and re-inherit the session-number topic.
