# Soft-delete the active file for a slot (MED-784)

`DELETE /cohorts/{cohortId}/sessions/{sessionId}/content/{slot}`

## Request

Clears a slot by soft-deleting the currently active row. Distinct from
the AC6 replace flow on POST: this leaves the slot empty rather than
swapping it for a new file. The CM may then re-upload to the same slot
cleanly. Returns 204 on success, 404 if the slot was already empty.

- `cohortId` string, uuid, required
- `sessionId` string, uuid, required
- `slot` SessionContentSlot, required (unresolved $ref)

## Response `204`

Slot cleared.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Session not found, or slot was already empty.
