# Set or clear a Group Coaching topic for a session number

`PUT /cohorts/{cohortId}/session-number-configs/group-coaching/topic`

Upserts the topic at the session-number level for group_coaching modality. The computed topic on each session is `session.topic_override ?? session_number_config.topic ?? topics.name(via topic_id) ?? null`, so propagation happens at read time — sessions with an explicit topic_override are untouched.
