# Update participant core identity

`PUT /cohorts/{cohortId}/participants/{participantId}/identity`

## Request

Update first name, last name, or email. This affects all cohort enrollments for this user.

## Response `200`

Identity updated successfully

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Participant or cohort not found
- `409`: Email already in use by another user
- `422`: Validation error
