# Assign a participant to a group

`POST /cohorts/{cohortId}/groups/{groupId}/members`

Adds a participant to the group, removing them from any other group in the same cohort

Participant assigned to group

- `400`: User is not a participant in this cohort
- `404`: Cohort or group not found
