# Schedule or reschedule a 1:1 coaching session

`POST /api/participant/sessions/{sessionId}/schedule`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.production.yourmedley.com`
- URL: `https://api.production.yourmedley.com/api/participant/sessions/{sessionId}/schedule`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Allows the authenticated participant to schedule an unscheduled 1:1 session or reschedule an already-scheduled 1:1 session. Sends a calendar invitation to both the participant and the assigned coach.

## Path parameters

- `sessionId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `scheduled_start` string, date-time, required: ISO 8601 UTC datetime for the session start
  - `timezone` string, required: IANA timezone identifier (e.g., America/Denver)
  - `meeting_link` string: Meeting URL (editable, pre-populated from coach profile)

## Response `200`

Session scheduled successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request — invalid input or session not schedulable
- `401`: Unauthorized — authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden — session does not belong to this participant
