# Get compensation configuration for a cohort

`GET /api/cohorts/{cohortId}/compensation`

Returns the compensation config, resolved rates (global merged with overrides),
and the cohort's modality profile — which modalities are enabled, which 1:1
session types and durations are configured, and whether in-person events exist.
The modality profile (MED-731) is used by the Configure Compensation modal to
filter rate rows down to only the ones relevant to this cohort.

  - `cohort_modalities` string[]
  - `session_duration_minutes` integer, nullable
  - `configured_one_on_one_session_types` string[]: 1:1 session types actually configured on the cohort (MED-731). Drives which 1:1 SDA rows appear in the Configure Compensation modal.
  - `configured_one_on_one_durations` integer[]: 1:1 session durations (minutes) configured on the cohort. Unused durations are hidden in the modal.
  - `has_in_person_events` boolean: True when the cohort has at least one in_person_booster event. Gates the In-Person Half/Full Day rate rows.
