# Send a test coach announcement email

`POST /api/cohorts/{cohortId}/coaches/announcements/test`

## Request

Sends a test email to the current user's address with [TEST] prefix. Uses real cohort/coach data for merge tag resolution. No side effects on email history or contract status.

  - `coach_user_id` string, uuid: Optional specific coach to resolve merge tags against

## Response `200`

Test email sent successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing required fields or no coaches available
- `404`: Cohort not found
