# Create a new huddle (1:1 session)

`POST /api/coach/cohorts/{cohortId}/huddles`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.production.yourmedley.com`
- URL: `https://api.production.yourmedley.com/api/coach/cohorts/{cohortId}/huddles`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new 1:1 huddle session between the coach and a participant. Optionally sends a Google Calendar invite.

## Path parameters

- `cohortId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `group_id` string, uuid, required: Group the participant belongs to
  - `participant_id` string, uuid, required: Participant for the 1:1
  - `huddle_type` 'general', required: Type of huddle. Only general. Intro and midpoint check-ins are 1:1 rows (MED-1350).
  - `title` string: Custom title (required for general type)
  - `scheduled_start` string, date-time, required: Start date/time (ISO 8601)
  - `duration_minutes` integer, required: Duration in minutes
  - `video_link` string, uri: Video conferencing link (Zoom/Teams/Meet)
  - `timezone` string, required: IANA timezone (e.g., America/New_York)
  - `send_invite` boolean, required: If true, sends Google Calendar invite to coach and participant

## Response `201`

Huddle created successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error (participant not in group, missing title for general type)
- `401`: Unauthorized
