# Submit availability response

`POST /api/coach/availability-requests/{requestId}/respond`

Submit coach availability response for a specific request.

## Path parameters

- `requestId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `interest_status` 'interested' | 'not_interested', required
  - `slot_availability` object: Per-slot availability (required if interested)
  - `max_groups` integer: Number of groups the coach is willing to take (mutually exclusive with is_flexible_groups)
  - `is_flexible_groups` boolean: If true, coach is willing to take as many groups as needed (mutually exclusive with max_groups)
  - `additional_notes` string

## Response `200`

Response submitted successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request or already responded
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Request not found
