# Delete an absence email template

`DELETE /absence-email-templates/{id}`

Deletes a template. Blocked if any active rules reference the template.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Template deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Cannot delete template referenced by active rules
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Template not found
