# List voices

`GET /v2/api/voices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.withallo.com`
- URL: `https://api.withallo.com/v2/api/voices`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Lists the voices an AI receptionist can speak with, the same catalog the Allo app offers. Each `id` is what `voice_id` takes, and a voice speaks the language it is listed under.

## Response `200`

The voice catalog

- object
  - `data` Voice[]
    - `id` string: What `voice_id` takes on `PATCH /v2/api/numbers/{number}/agent`.
    - `language` string: The language this voice speaks. Match it to the receptionist's `language`.
    - `avatar_url` string
    - `demo_url` string: An audio sample, so you can listen before choosing.
    - `gender` 'MALE' | 'FEMALE'

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: API key lacks the required scope or access to the resource
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
