# Pin conversation

`PUT /v2/api/conversations/{contact_number}/pin`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.withallo.com`
- URL: `https://api.withallo.com/v2/api/conversations/{contact_number}/pin`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Pins a conversation for the caller. Up to 10 conversations can be pinned. Pinning a conversation that is already pinned returns `204` and changes nothing. A missing or blank `allo_number` returns `400` `INVALID_REQUEST_BODY`.

## Path parameters

- `contact_number` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `allo_number` string, required: Allo line the conversation is on (E.164).

## Response `204`

Conversation pinned

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: API key lacks the required scope or access to the resource
- `409`: Conflict with existing resource
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
