# Get Wirex Partner token

`POST /api/v1/token`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-business.wirexapp.com`
- URL: `https://api-business.wirexapp.com/api/v1/token`
- Auth: none required

Exchange client credentials for Wirex Partner access token

## Request body

- RequestOAuth2TokenRequest
  - `audience` string: Target API audience (optional)
  - `client_id` string, required: Unique identifier assigned to your application during partner onboarding
  - `client_secret` string, required: Secret key associated with your client_id, used for authentication
  - `grant_type` string, required: OAuth2 grant type, must be "client_credentials"

## Response `200`

OK

- ResponseOAuth2TokenResponse
  - `access_token` string, required: Signed JWT token used to authenticate Partner API requests
  - `expires_at` integer, required: Unix timestamp (seconds) when the token expires
  - `token_type` string, required: Token type, always "Bearer"

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `429`: Too Many Requests
