# Create transfer estimation

`POST /api/v1/cards/transfer/estimate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-business.wirexapp.com`
- URL: `https://api-business.wirexapp.com/api/v1/cards/transfer/estimate`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Creates a new card transfer estimation

## Request body

- RequestCardTransferEstimateRequest
  - `amount` number, required: Amount specifies the transaction amount
  - `currency` string: Currency specifies the type of currency for the transaction
  - `external_card_id` string, required: ExternalCardId is the unique identifier for the external card
  - `tokens` string[], required: Tokens is a list of tokens from which the amount will be transferred

OK

- ResponseCardTransferEstimateResponse
  - `amount` number, required: Amount that would be transferred
  - `currency` string, required: Currency of the transfer request
  - `estimated_amounts` ResponseEstimatedAmountResponse[], required: List of estimated amounts for each requested token
    - `amount` number, required: Amount that would be transferred in token currency scaled to the precision of the token
    - `fee_amount` number: Fee amount charged for this estimate, scaled to the precision of the token. Empty when the upstream estimator does not report a per-token fee.
    - `fee_precise_amount` string: Fee amount charged for this estimate, in the smallest unit of the token. Empty when the upstream estimator does not report a per-token fee.
    - `precise_amount` string, required: Amount that would be transferred in token currency in the smallest unit of the token
    - `rate` number, required: Rate of the token to the account currency
    - `token_address` string, required: Address of the token that the amount is in
    - `token_symbol` string, required: Symbol of the token that the amount is in
  - `estimation_id` string, required: Identifier of the created estimation
  - `expires_at` integer, required: UTC timestamp when the estimation will expire
  - `fee_amount` number, required: Amount of the fee that would be charged

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `500`: Internal Server Error
