# Change card limit

`PUT /api/v1/cards/{cardId}/limit`

## Request

Updates maximum amount that can be spent using the card within a certain period of time

- `cardId` string, required

- RequestCardLimitChangeRequestBody
  - `daily_limit` number, required: New daily limit for the card. **To disable the limit set it to -1 or do not specify this field at all**
  - `limit` number, required: New daily limit for the card. **To disable the limit set it to -1 or do not specify this field at all** Obsolete; DailyLimit field should be used instead
  - `monthly_limit` number, required: New monthly limit for the card. **To disable the limit set it to -1 or do not specify this field at all**
  - `transaction_limit` number, required: New per-transaction limit for the card. **To disable the limit set it to -1 or do not specify this field at all**
