# Activate card

`PUT /api/v1/cards/{cardId}/activate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-business.wirexapp.com`
- URL: `https://api-business.wirexapp.com/api/v1/cards/{cardId}/activate`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Activates a card that has been issues to a user and is currently in **NotActivated** state. This endpoint is needed only for physical cards to provide additional layer of security in case the card is stolen during delivery.

## Path parameters

- `cardId` string, required

- RequestCardActivateRequestBody
  - `card_number_last4` string, required: Last 4 digits of the card number
  - `expiry_date` string, required: Cards expiration date in format MM/YYYY

## Response `200`

OK
