# Get a document by ID

`GET /v2/partner/document/{id}`

Retrieves a document by its unique identifier. The requesting partner must be an owner of the document.

  - `id` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier for the document
  - `document_type` string, required: The type of document
  - `url` string: Optional externally accessible URL where the document can be retrieved
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when the document was created
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when the document was last updated
  - `bundle_id` string, uuid: Optional bundle identifier for grouping related documents

## Other responses

- `404`: Document not found or partner is not an owner
