# Get credit balance

`GET /billing/credits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.whoisgeni.us` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.whoisgeni.us/billing/credits`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Return the current credit balance and subscription status for the user.

The has_active_subscription field indicates whether the user has a paid
subscription that covers analyses without requiring credits.
