# Create Stripe Checkout Session

`POST /billing/checkout`

Legacy subscription checkout — discontinued.

New subscription sales ended with the move to one-time credit packs
(2026-08-09 decision). Existing subscribers are unaffected: the Stripe
webhook and customer portal continue to manage their plans. New
purchases go through POST /billing/credits/checkout.
