# Update Prompt

`PUT /prompts/{prompt_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dev.whispa.net` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://dev.whispa.net/prompts/{prompt_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Password
    - Token URL: `auth/bearer/login`
  - API key in cookie `access_token`

Update an existing prompt.

## Path parameters

- `prompt_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- PromptUpdate: Input schema for updating an existing prompt.
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `type` string, nullable
  - `content` string, nullable
  - `description` string, nullable
  - `config` PromptConfigInput: Type-specific configuration for prompts. For coaching prompts, includes dimension definitions. Can be extended for other prompt types as needed.
    - `dimensions` object, nullable: Coaching dimensions (only for coaching prompts)
