# Call Started

`POST /integrations/telephony/awsconnect/call-started`

## Request

Webhook called by Lambda when an AWS Connect call starts.

The Lambda function sends this when:
- A call connects to an agent
- KVS streaming is started for the contact

This endpoint:
1. Creates a Whispa session for the call (if agent is mapped)
2. Starts consuming the KVS stream
3. Pipes audio to the transcription pipeline

Returns:
- CallStartedResponse with status="started" and session_id if call is captured
- CallStartedResponse with status="ignored" and reason if agent is not mapped

## Request body

- CallStartedRequest: Webhook payload from Lambda when a call starts. The Lambda function in the customer's AWS account sends this payload when a call connects and KVS streaming begins.
  - `contact_id` string, required: AWS Connect Contact ID
  - `stream_arn` string, required: KVS Stream ARN for this call
  - `agent_arn` string, nullable: Agent ARN (for user mapping)
  - `customer_number` string, nullable: Customer's phone number
  - `instance_arn` string, nullable: AWS Connect Instance ARN
  - `queue_name` string, nullable: Queue name the call came through
  - `agent_username` string, nullable: Agent username in AWS Connect
  - `initiation_method` string, nullable: Call initiation method: INBOUND, OUTBOUND, TRANSFER, CALLBACK, API, etc.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- CallStartedResponse: Response to call-started webhook.
  - `session_id` string, uuid, nullable: Session ID (None if call was ignored)
  - `status` string: started, ignored, or error
  - `reason` string, nullable: Reason if status is ignored

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
