# Get a safe file download URL

`GET /storage/{storage_id}/file-download-url/{path}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloud.wherobots.com`
- URL: `https://api.cloud.wherobots.com/storage/{storage_id}/file-download-url/{path}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Authenticate to obtain downloadUrl, then GET that URL without X-API-Key, Authorization, or other platform credentials. The response is not cacheable. The URL expires at expiresAt (or earlier if its storage credentials expire).

- `storage_id` string, required
- `path` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- DownloadUrlResponse: Short-lived storage location, to be fetched without platform credentials.
  - `downloadUrl` string, required
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Internal Server Error
