# Delete a map

`DELETE /maps/{map_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloud.wherobots.com`
- URL: `https://api.cloud.wherobots.com/maps/{map_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Only the owner can delete a map: 403 for anyone else who can read it.

- `map_id` string, required
