# Check how to message one recipient

`POST /api/v1/tools/check_recipient_send_options`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://whatsync.app`

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Check whether this connection is ready, the number is allowed by workspace filters, history exists, and whether an official Business reply is inside the 24-hour window or needs an approved template. This does not prove WhatsApp registration or opt-in.

  - `channel` 'qr' | 'business': Required when both accounts are connected; templates always use Business
  - `conversationId` string: The exact conversation_id value returned by another WhatSync tool
  - `phoneNumber` string: One recipient's phone number with country code
