# Get an order

`GET /orders/{order_id}`

Retrieve an order sold by the authenticated seller. Requires read:orders.

  - `transaction_type` 'buy_it_now' | 'auction' | 'giveaway' | 'other', required

    - `id` string, required: The user's decimal ID.
    - `username` string, required: The user's username.
    - `display_name` string, nullable, required: The user's display name.

    - `subtotal` Money, required
      - `amount` string, required: Decimal amount in major currency units, e.g. 42.00.
      - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 currency code.
    - `shipping` Money, required
      - `amount` string, required: Decimal amount in major currency units, e.g. 42.00.
      - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 currency code.
    - `tax` Money, required
      - `amount` string, required: Decimal amount in major currency units, e.g. 42.00.

    - `applied_discount` union, required: The discount from the seller's coupon; null when none applied or the coupon isn't the seller's.

        - `type` 'fixed_price', required: A fixed amount off the order.

          - `amount` string, required: Decimal amount in major currency units, e.g. 42.00.
          - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 currency code.
      - PercentageDiscount
        - `type` 'percentage', required: A percentage off the order.
        - `amount` Money, required
          - `amount` string, required: Decimal amount in major currency units, e.g. 42.00.
          - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 currency code.
    - `total` Money, required
      - `amount` string, required: Decimal amount in major currency units, e.g. 42.00.
      - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 currency code.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Creation timestamp, if recorded.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Last update timestamp, if recorded.
  - `cancelled_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: When the order was cancelled, if it was.

## Other responses

- `404`: Order not found.
- `422`: Validation Error
