# Suspend, ban or restore an account (moderator only)

`PUT /users/{userId}/moderation`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Recorded in the account's moderation history. Suspending or banning ends the account's current sessions; restoring also dismisses the open reports against it.
