# Add ELT Sync Destination

`POST /elt_sync_destinations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://connect.weld.app`
- URL: `https://connect.weld.app/elt_sync_destinations`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Beta. Make an ELT Sync also load into one of the ELT Destinations of the account. Available to accounts with the multi-destination ELT feature.

## Request body

- EltSyncDestinationCreateRequestDto
  - `elt_sync_id` string, required: The ID of the ELT Sync.
  - `elt_destination_id` string, required: The ID of the ELT Destination to load into.
  - `destination_schema_name` string: The schema to load into in this destination. Must be unique among the ELT Syncs loading into the same Connection. Defaults to the ELT Sync's own destination schema name.
  - `reload` 'CONTINUE' | 'FULL_SYNC', required: `FULL_SYNC` reloads every stream into every destination of the ELT Sync, the data warehouse included. `CONTINUE` loads only what the next runs read, without reloading. An ELT Sync with a change data capture stream accepts only `CONTINUE`.

## Response `201`

- EltSyncDestinationDto
  - `id` string, required: The ID of the ELT Sync destination.
  - `elt_sync_id` string, required: The ID of the ELT Sync that loads into the destination.
  - `elt_destination_id` string, required: The ID of the ELT Destination the ELT Sync loads into.
  - `connection_id` string, required: The ID of the Connection of the ELT Destination.
  - `destination_schema_name` string, required: The schema the ELT Sync loads into in this destination.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the destination was added to the ELT Sync.

## Other responses

- `400`: The ELT Sync runs on GCP, already loads into the destination, has a change data capture stream and `FULL_SYNC` was requested, or the schema name is invalid or taken.
- `403`: The account does not have the multi-destination ELT feature.
- `404`: ELT Sync or ELT Destination not found.
