# Mute the sender of a conversation

`POST /support/conversations/{id}/mute`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.web2wave.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.web2wave.com/api/support/conversations/{id}/mute`
- Auth: API key in header `api_key`

Adds the sender's address to the project's "Mute emails" list. The conversation and everything this address
writes later disappear from the desk (list, search, analytics, daily summary, auto replies); the data is kept.
Undo by removing the address from `muted_emails` with `PATCH /support/settings`. The demo conversation cannot be muted.

## Response `200`

`muted` (the address) and the new `muted_emails` list

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
- `422`: Demo conversation, or the list is full (200 entries)
