# List global sections

`GET /projects/{projectId}/global-sections`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://studio.weaverse.io/api/v1/content`
- URL: `https://studio.weaverse.io/api/v1/content/projects/{projectId}/global-sections`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Lists every global section of the project, newest first. A global section is one shared item subtree (for example a header or footer) rendered by several pages; editing it changes every page that hosts it.

Each section carries:

- `id`: the section id used by the per-section endpoint
- `itemId`: the root item of the shared subtree
- `usageCount` and `usedInPages`: the page assignments (`type`, `handle`, `locale`, `market`) that render it
- `items`: the current live item subtree

Required scope: `content:read`

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
- `403`: Foreign project or missing scope (INSUFFICIENT_SCOPE)
- `404`: Not found (never discloses other tenants)
