# Claim a toilet for a business

`POST /api/v1/toilets/{id}/claims`

## Request

- Auth: API key in cookie `__Host-wcway_session`

For the web page of this site only. It needs a signed-in account. A moderator reviews each claim. An approved claim lets the business buy a Verified Partner listing. A listing never changes the order of results.

## Response `201`

The claim is saved and waits for a moderator.

## Other responses

- `400`: The body is invalid.
- `401`: No account is signed in.
- `403`: The request came from another origin.
- `404`: No toilet has this id.
- `409`: This account already claimed the toilet, or another business holds it.
- `429`: Rate limit reached. Wait Retry-After seconds.
