# Replace who the org's billing emails go to (owner/admin)

`PUT /v1/orgs/{org_id}/billing/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud`
- URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud/v1/orgs/{org_id}/billing/contacts`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `whc_session`
  - HTTP bearer

The whole list, replacing the one there. An empty list goes back to the org's owners. Every contact gets every billing email, and the payment provider is given none of them; with none marked the first is primary. A signed-in person's credential only: an API key cannot redirect the bills.

  - `contacts` BillingContactInput[], required: the whole list, at most max (get-billing-contacts) addresses; empty goes back to the org's owners
    - `email` string, required
    - `primary` boolean: at most one; with none marked the first is primary

## Response `200`

OK

- BillingContactsView
  - `contacts` BillingContactView[], required: primary first
    - `email` string, required
    - `primary` boolean, required: listed first; exactly one is. Every billing email goes to every contact alike
  - `default` boolean, required: true: the org has set none, so these are its owners and follow its membership
  - `max` integer, required: how many addresses the list may hold

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limited, per client IP, API key or org; a client IP is also refused on every route for a while after repeated authentication failures. A limited operation carries RateLimit-Policy and RateLimit on every response; wait Retry-After seconds before retrying.
- `default`: Error
