# DEPRECATED — use POST …/tickets instead. Opens a \`feature_request\` support ticket and returns a reference to quote in follow-up.

`POST /v1/me/reports/capabilities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud`
- URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud/v1/me/reports/capabilities`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `whc_session`
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string: A unique value you choose per logical request (a random UUID). A retry with the same key and the same request within 24 hours returns the first response, marked Idempotency-Replayed: true, instead of acting twice. The same key with a different request is refused with 422; one sent while the first is still running gets 409.

## Request body

- ReportInput
  - `client` string: OPTIONAL: the calling client's identifier (e.g. an MCP client User-Agent)
  - `description` string, required: Markdown: what you were trying to do, what happened vs. what you expected, and any tool/endpoint/ids involved
  - `org_id` string: OPTIONAL context: the org the caller's connection was scoped to. Never used for authorization — the org recorded is resolved from your credential.
  - `project_id` string: OPTIONAL context: the project the caller's connection was scoped to
  - `title` string, required: A concise, specific one-line summary

## Response `202`

Accepted

- ReportOutput
  - `reference` string, required: The report's handle, e.g. WHC-R-4KP9QX2M. Quote it when following up.
  - `status` string, required: always accepted — the ticket is open

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limited, per client IP, API key or org; a client IP is also refused on every route for a while after repeated authentication failures. A limited operation carries RateLimit-Policy and RateLimit on every response; wait Retry-After seconds before retrying.
- `default`: Error
