# The signed-in customer (identity + their org memberships, with approval status)

`GET /v1/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud`

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

    - `project_ids` string[], required: the project id(s) the key may touch (empty when all_projects)

  - `limits` string[], required: what this credential may not do even where its role could; empty for a signed-in person or an unrestricted credential
  - `orgs` OrgMembershipView[], required
    - `billing_standing` BillingStandingView, required
      - `next_step_at` string, date-time: over_limit: when the org is suspended; suspended: when it starts closing
      - `reason` 'non_payment' | 'over_limit'
      - `since` string, date-time
      - `state` 'good' | 'over_limit' | 'suspended', required: over_limit: writes are paused while reads, exports and deletes work; suspended: the engines are stopped and the data is kept

      - `cancelable` boolean, required: true when the caller may cancel it: an owner, for a deletion an owner scheduled, before destroy_after
      - `destroy_after` string, date-time, required: when the projects, members and API keys are removed and billing ends with a final invoice

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limited, per client IP, API key or org; a client IP is also refused on every route for a while after repeated authentication failures. A limited operation carries RateLimit-Policy and RateLimit on every response; wait Retry-After seconds before retrying.
