# Delete your own user account (email-confirmed). BLOCKED (409) while you own an org that is not being deleted — delete each or transfer its ownership away first; deleting your account never tears down an org for you. While an org you own is still being deleted the account deletion is PENDING (status "deletion scheduled", delete_after): you are signed out, signing in again cancels it, and it completes once those orgs are gone. Memberships in orgs you don't own are dropped. A user may exist while belonging to zero orgs — this is the ONLY thing that deletes a person.

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud`
- URL: `https://api.wavehouse.cloud/v1/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `whc_session`
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

## Request body

- DeleteMeInput
  - `confirm_email` string, required: type your account email to confirm — must match your signed-in email

## Response `200`

OK

- DeleteMeOutput
  - `delete_after` string, date-time: deletion scheduled: the earliest it completes, and only once every org you own is gone; signing in again cancels it
  - `status` 'account deleted' | 'deletion scheduled', required

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limited, per client IP, API key or org; a client IP is also refused on every route for a while after repeated authentication failures. A limited operation carries RateLimit-Policy and RateLimit on every response; wait Retry-After seconds before retrying.
- `default`: Error
