# Delete a factory task

`DELETE /factory/{uid}/tasks/{task_uid}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.warp.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.warp.dev/api/v1/factory/{uid}/tasks/{task_uid}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Soft-delete a task. The task disappears from list and get responses
immediately, and its conversation may be bound to a new task.
Deleting a task never deletes artifacts or the conversation.

- `uid` string, required
- `task_uid` string, required

## Response `204`

Factory task deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Factory access is not enabled for the authenticated principal
- `404`: Factory or task not found under this factory
- `500`: Internal server error
