# Serve Company Slug

`GET /company/{slug}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://warnfirehose.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://warnfirehose.com/company/{slug}`
- Auth: none declared

301 legacy /company/{slug} to the canonical /layoffs/company/{slug}.

Company URLs migrated to /layoffs/company/* in April 2026, but /company/*
kept serving company.html with a hardcoded /company canonical — so Google
saw thousands of pages all canonicalizing to one URL and dropped them as
duplicates. Redirecting consolidates the historical index (and the ~65k
internal /company/* links) onto the canonical URL, matching the existing
/companies/{slug} and /data/layoffs/company/{slug} redirects.
Alias slugs flatten to the canonical in one hop.
