# List email replies

`GET /replies`

## Request

The replies your email campaigns received, newest first, with the reply text. Each record has the same fields as the reply.received webhook (plus an id, the conversation id and the sender's name), so you can backfill any reply your endpoint missed or read the text of a reply later. bodyText holds the text of the reply as it arrived (up to 4,000 characters; bodyTruncated is true when it was cut). Cursor paginated. Read-only.

Required scope: `campaigns:read`.

Returns a cursor-paginated list — pass `cursor` from the previous page to continue.

messageId is the reply's own Message-ID. inReplyToMessageId is the messageId of the email it answered, the same value as in GET /emails/sent; it is null when the reply does not name one of your emails.

The text is the reply as it arrived, so it can include the earlier email quoted below the new message.

Only replies on campaign conversations are listed. Warmup mail is not. Replies of a deleted campaign or deleted contact are not listed.

Polling for new replies? Use order=asc with since set a few minutes before your previous check, and skip any id you already have.

## Other responses

- `400`: `validation_error` — A filter, the order, the limit or the cursor is not valid. The message says which.
- `401`: `unauthorized` — Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: `insufficient_scope` — The API key lacks the scope this endpoint requires.
- `429`: `rate_limited` — Too many requests — slow down and retry after the Retry-After delay.
