# Delete a notification rule of a group

`DELETE /api/v1/groups/{group}/notification-settings/{group_notification_setting}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://wardenpoint.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://wardenpoint.com/api/v1/groups/{group}/notification-settings/{group_notification_setting}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Removes the rule. Members then resolve by their personal rules, and by the account-wide default steps when they have none — nobody is left without escalation. Repeating the call returns 404.

## Response `204`

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: API key missing, invalid, revoked or expired.
- `403`: API key lacks the config.write ability, the group belongs to another company, or the rule belongs to another group.
- `404`: No group or rule with this UUID.
