# Create unit of measure

`POST /units-of-measure/`

Endpoint for creating a new unit of measure.

## Headers

- `X-Wafeq-Idempotency-Key` string

## Request body

- ApiV1UnitOfMeasure: A unit of measure items are counted in.
  - `created_ts` string, date-time, required: The timestamp in UTC when the unit of measure was created
  - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the unit of measure.
  - `is_active` boolean: Whether the unit of measure is active.
  - `modified_ts` string, date-time, required: The timestamp in UTC when the unit of measure was last modified
  - `name` string, required: The name of the unit of measure.
  - `name_ar` string: The Arabic name of the unit of measure.

## Response `201`
