# Preview early termination

`POST /revenue-recognitions/{id}/preview-end-early/`

## Request

Endpoint for previewing the remaining balance and the posted events that would be reversed by terminating the revenue recognition early at the given date.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- ApiV1RevenueRecognitionPreviewEndEarlyInput: The payload to preview ending a revenue recognition early.
  - `date` string, date, required: The date to preview the early termination at.
  - `start_date` string, date: The start date of the schedule, filled in from the existing schedule rather than sent by the client.

## Response `200`

- ApiV1RevenueRecognitionPreviewEndEarly: The preview of ending a revenue recognition early.
  - `later_reductions` ApiV1DeferralPreviewLaterReduction[], required: The reductions dated after this date that ending early would unlink from the schedule.
    - `amount` number, double, required: The reduction amount that will be unlinked from the schedule.
    - `date` string, date, required: The date of the reduction.
    - `note` string, required: The identifier of the note that applied this reduction.
    - `note_number` string, nullable, required: The document number of the note that applied this reduction.
  - `posted_events_to_delete` ApiV1RevenueRecognitionEvent[], required: The posted events that will be reversed by ending early at this date.
    - `amount` number, double, required: The amount recognized for this event.
    - `amount_to_bcy` number, double, nullable, required: The amount converted to the organization base currency.
    - `balance` number, double, required: The remaining balance after this event.
    - `date` string, date, required: The date when this event is recognized.
    - `description` string, required: The description of the event.
    - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the revenue recognition event.
    - `journal` string, nullable, required: The journal entry generated by this revenue recognition event, if posted.
    - `legacy_id` string, required: [Deprecated] The legacy identifier of the revenue recognition event.
  - `remaining_balance` number, double, required: The remaining un-recognized balance at the requested date.
