# Report invoice to tax authority

`POST /invoices/{id}/tax-authority/report/`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Report the invoice to the tax authority for processing and validation.

A `PENDING` status means the submission was accepted and the tax authority's verdict is still outstanding. The invoice is issued and can no longer be edited. Retrieve the invoice to read the final status. A concurrent report or retry returns HTTP 409 with code `report_in_progress`; refresh the document before deciding whether to retry.

  - `metadata` ApiV1DocumentTaxAuthorityMetadata, required: The validation results the tax authority returned for a document.
    - `errors` object[]: The errors the tax authority returned when validating the document.
    - `warnings` object[]: The warnings the tax authority returned when validating the document.
  - `reported_ts` string, date-time, required: When the document was reported to the tax authority.
  - `status` string, required: The status of reporting the document to the tax authority.
