# Create bank account

`POST /bank-accounts/`

Endpoint for creating a new bank account.

- ApiV1BankAccount: A bank, petty cash, or credit card account of the organization.
  - `account` string, required: The associated account for this bank account.
  - `classification` string, required: The classification of the bank account (e.g., Asset).
  - `created_ts` string, date-time, required: The timestamp in UTC when the bank account was created
  - `currency` string, required: The currency used for this bank account.
  - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the bank account.
  - `legacy_id` string, required: [Deprecated] The legacy identifier of the bank account.
  - `modified_ts` string, date-time, required: The timestamp in UTC when the bank account was last modified
  - `name` string, required: The name of the bank account.
  - `sub_classification` 'BANK' | 'PETTY_CASH' | 'CREDIT_CARD', required: The type of cash account represented by the bank account. [View the enum reference](bankaccountsubclassificationenum)
