# Create an invoice (payment request)

`POST /invoices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://swap.vurto.cc/v1`
- URL: `https://swap.vurto.cc/v1/invoices`
- Auth: none required

No signature or API key needed. Only verified tokens of the network are accepted, by address or symbol: a cloned token with its own pool would let the creator sell a fake at any price. The payer can pay with any token on that network (see /invoices/{id}/pay). Rate-limited 10 per minute and 200 per day per IP.

  - `token` string, required: Address/mint or symbol of a verified token.

- `409`: ambiguous_token: the symbol matches more than one token; use the address
