# Create a review

`POST /reviews-and-ratings/api/review`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://storecomponents.myvtex.com`
- URL: `https://storecomponents.myvtex.com/reviews-and-ratings/api/review`
- Auth: API key in header `VtexIdclientAutCookie`

Creates a single review. 
## Permissions

This endpoint does not require [permissions](https://help.vtex.com/en/tutorial/license-manager-resources--3q6ztrC8YynQf6rdc6euk3). 
 For authentication, you must generate and use only your `VtexidClientAutCookie` to work with this endpoint. Refer to the [Generating user tokens](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/api-authentication-using-user-tokens#generating-a-user-token-with-the-vtex-io-cli) guide for more information.

## Request body

- SaveReviewRequest: Request body.
  - `productId` string, required: Product ID.
  - `rating` integer, required: Customer rating.
  - `title` string, required: Review's title.
  - `text` string, required: Review's text.
  - `reviewerName` string, required: Reviewer name.
  - `approved` boolean, required: Indicates if the review was approved (`true`) or not (`false`).

  - `rating` number: Customer rating.
  - `title` string: Review's title.
  - `text` string: Review's text.
  - `reviewerName` string: Reviewer name.
  - `shopperId` string: Shopper email.
  - `reviewDateTime` string: Review's date and time.
  - `searchDate` string: Review's search date.
  - `verifiedPurchaser` boolean: Indicates if the reviewer is a verified purchaser (`true`) or not (`false`).
  - `sku` string, nullable: SKU ID.
  - `approved` boolean: Indicates if the review was approved (`true`) or not (`false`).
  - `location` string, nullable: Review's origin location.
  - `locale` string, nullable: Review's locale.
  - `pastReviews` string, nullable: Past reviews of the same product.
