# Get SKU translation by SKU ID

`GET /api/catalog/pvt/stockkeepingunit/{skuId}/language/{locale}`

## Request

Retrieves language-specific information for a SKU by its ID.

## Permissions

Any user or [application key](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/api-authentication-using-application-keys) must have at least one of the appropriate [License Manager resources](https://help.vtex.com/en/tutorial/license-manager-resources--3q6ztrC8YynQf6rdc6euk3) to be able to successfully run this request. Otherwise they will receive a status code `403` error. These are the applicable resources for this endpoint:

  - `Locale` string: The locale code for this translation. It follows the IETF BCP 47 standard, such as 'en-US' for English (United States), 'en-ES' for Spanish (Spain), or 'pt-BR' for Portuguese (Brazil).
  - `Name` string: Translated name of the SKU.
  - `MeasurementUnit` string: Measurement unit for the SKU. The acceptables values are: - `un`: Unit - `kg`: Kilogram - `g`: Gram - `mg`: Milligram - `m`: Meter - `m²`: Square meter - `m³`: Cubic meter - `cm`: Centimeter - `cm²`: Square centimeter - `cm³`: Cubic centimeter - `mm`: Millimeter - `mm²`: Square millimeter - `mm³`: Cubic millimeter - `oz`: Ounce - `lb`: Pound - `ft`: Foot - `ft²`: Square foot - `ft³`: Cubic foot - `in`: Inch - `in²`: Square inch - `in³`: Cubic inch
  - `Attributes` object[], nullable: Array of SKU attributes translations.
    - `Id` integer: SKU attribute ID.
    - `Locale` string: Locale code.
    - `AttributeName` string: SKU attribute name.
    - `AttributeValue` string: SKU attribute value.
  - `Attachments` object[], nullable: Array of SKU attachments translations.
    - `Id` integer: SKU attachment ID.
    - `Locale` string: Locale code.
    - `Name` string: SKU attachment name.

    - `Specifications` object[]: Array of specifications translations of the SKU specification group.
      - `Id` integer: Specification ID.
      - `Locale` string: Locale code.
      - `Name` string: Specification name. Limited to 100 characters.
      - `Description` string: Specification description.
      - `Value` object[]: Array of specification values translations of the SKU specification group.
        - `Id` integer: Specification value ID.
        - `Locale` string: Locale code.
        - `Name` string: Specification value name.
        - `IsCustomValue` boolean: Defines whether the specification value is custom (`true`) or not (`false`).
  - `Files` object[], nullable: Array with SKU files translations.
    - `Id` integer: Unique identifier of the association between the SKU and the file.
    - `FileId` integer: File ID.
    - `Locale` string: Locale code.
    - `Label` string: File label.
    - `Name` string: File name.
    - `Text` string, nullable: File text.
