# Create customer address

`POST /customers/{customer_id}/addresses`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.vrio.app`
- URL: `https://api.vrio.app/customers/{customer_id}/addresses`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Add new customer address

## Request body

- object
  - `fname` string, required: Address first name.
  - `lname` string, required: Address last name.
  - `organization` string: Address organization.
  - `address1` string, required: Address line 1.
  - `address2` string: Address line 2.
  - `city` string, required: Address city.
  - `country` string, required: Address country code, 2 letters (example : US).
  - `state` string: Address state. Required when customers address billing ID is empty and bill_county is US or CA.
  - `zipcode` string, required: Address zipcode.
  - `make_default` boolean: Pass as true to update the address on recurring and pending orders.
  - `orders` integer[]: Pass an array of order ids to update.
  - `address_type` 'shipping' | 'billing' | 'both': Define which address to update or both. Updating the shipping address on an order will also update any pending shipments associated with the order. Required when passing make_default or orders.
