# Add a domain you own

`POST /v1/instances/{id}/app/domains`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.vozora.io`
- URL: `https://api.vozora.io/v1/instances/{id}/app/domains`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Adds an exact customer-owned hostname as a host alias and mints its TXT ownership challenge. Wildcards are refused, as are names inside Vozora-operated zones. Nothing routes until the challenge is proven and the name resolves only to this app's addresses; the automatic Vozora hostname keeps working throughout.
