# Delete a rule group

`DELETE /v1/firewalls/groups/{groupID}`

## Request

The group and its rules are removed.

## Path parameters

- `groupID` string, required

## Response `204`

deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: invalid or missing API key
- `403`: the key lacks firewall:write
- `404`: no such resource, or it belongs to another account
